T-Swap: A(wear)ness - Part One

Proudly brought to you by Team Swap (Clockwise from top left: John, Faudziah, Sharon and Tercia.

With many thanks to our volunteers!

This event would not have been possible without active and sporting participants!

Before participants could swap, they had to give us a t-shirt!
Some participants went out on a limb and stripped on the spot!

Everyone including Team Swap, volunteers and participants
wore shirts from various organisations.
Despite the cold weather, the Swap Team, volunteers and participants still wore their shirts proudly.

A few familiar faces graced our presence.

The day progressed from one destination to another.

When there are T-Shirts from 10 organisations involved,
it can be difficult to make a decision...
Goodie bags and hand-made tags with a brand new T-shirt for your old dag?
Madness you say??

Well, everything you heard was true. We really did swap brand new tee's and goodie bags for old shirts. Where did all the old shirts go?
To the good people at Salvation Army!

Keep your eyes peeled for your snap shot as we update in the coming days!!

T-Swap: A(wear)ness - Part Two

Despite the heavy clouds and forceful wind....

...and a chaotic day for Team Swap....

....the event was a fun and fulfilling occasion for all!

Participants were enticed with cool shirts from organisations!

Apart from volunteers, we had a representative from Amnesty International Victoria!

Balloons decorated the campus.

Posters stood the test of the wind!

Participants were curious and eager to swap.

Hand-made tags

Team Swap put up more props at Uni during the day......

.............and
stayed up all night before the day of the event to
hand-make individual tags for goodie bags!

Team Swap managed to make 200 tags for the event!

Each tag is individual from the rest and made of old clothings, card board materials, beads, a variety of vibrant and unique buttons and rope material to give a ruggard look.

Tswap logo transparency attached to every single tag as a trademark of the event.

By the end of it, despite the bags under our eyes and our sore hands from cutting and sewing, tying and tagging, it was worthit seeing it laid out before our eyes!
