T-Swap: A(wear)ness - Part One

Proudly brought to you by Team Swap (Clockwise from top left: John, Faudziah, Sharon and Tercia.

With many thanks to our volunteers!

This event would not have been possible without active and sporting participants!

Before participants could swap, they had to give us a t-shirt!
Some participants went out on a limb and stripped on the spot!

Everyone including Team Swap, volunteers and participants
wore shirts from various organisations.
Despite the cold weather, the Swap Team, volunteers and participants still wore their shirts proudly.

A few familiar faces graced our presence.

The day progressed from one destination to another.

When there are T-Shirts from 10 organisations involved,
it can be difficult to make a decision...
Goodie bags and hand-made tags with a brand new T-shirt for your old dag?
Madness you say??

Well, everything you heard was true. We really did swap brand new tee's and goodie bags for old shirts. Where did all the old shirts go?
To the good people at Salvation Army!

Keep your eyes peeled for your snap shot as we update in the coming days!!

I'm going to wrap it up as an innnovative and inviting campaign! And guess what? as the words spread around about the T-swap event, many of my friends keep asking for more! Love the "Defend the Freedom" T-shirt!

I brought along a shirt but didn't really know what to expect and I was shocked when I saw an entire row of shirts from over 8 organisations!

Took me a while to pick one (wish I could have taken more!).

It was a great event and I hope it will become an annual event :)

At first I didn't know that the old shirts were going to Salvation Army. I didn't think much of it to be honest. But now that you mentioned it, I feel that this is a great idea and benefits everyone!

I'm surprised that RMIT students can come up with an idea like this. Well done!

What course are you guys doing?

Brad - I'm the one who took his shirt off :p

A job well done. Very creative idea and helps the needy too. Why don't you guys start this T-Swap project worldwide. Maybe for a start, do it in Singapore! So that I can have the chance to swap my T-shirt :)

Hi Team Swap,

Thank you so much for this. Do you know how hard - not to mention expensive - it is to acquire potential supporters?! This is great.

Glad that your endeavours reaped such fine rewards and happy to help in whatever way I can in the future.

Kind regards,
